Docker MCP Gateway (official)

MCP server
submitted by u/client to c/devops · 0 uses

Run containerised MCP servers from Docker's catalog behind one gateway, with isolation and secrets handling.

Docker's MCP Gateway is a Docker CLI plugin that runs MCP servers from the Docker MCP Catalog in isolated containers and exposes them to your client through a single entry point. You enable servers and store their secrets with 'docker mcp' commands, and can group them into profiles. Containers limit what each server can touch on your machine. It ships with Docker Desktop's MCP Toolkit. Good for managing many servers without installing each one's runtime.

Try asking:

  • "Enable the GitHub and Postgres servers from the Docker catalog and connect them to this client."
  • "List the MCP servers available through my gateway."
  • "Start the gateway with my 'dev-tools' profile."

Sign-in: none needed.
