Dropbox MCP server (official, remote)

Search and read files in Dropbox through Dropbox's hosted OAuth server.

Dropbox's hosted server lets an agent search your Dropbox, list folders, read file contents and metadata, and work with shared links. You connect with Dropbox OAuth, and the agent sees only your files. Dropbox also runs a separate Dash server for universal search. Useful for pulling documents into a conversation without downloading them by hand.

Try asking:

  • "Find the latest version of our brand guidelines PDF in Dropbox."
  • "What's in the 'Clients/Acme' folder?"
  • "Summarise the proposal document I saved last week."

Sign-in: OAuth in your AI tool the first time you use it.
