Kubernetes MCP server (community)

MCP server
submitted by u/client to c/devops · 0 uses

Native Go server for Kubernetes and OpenShift: pods, logs, events, resources and Helm, with read-only mode.

This server (from the containers org, maintained by Red Hat engineers) talks to the Kubernetes API directly using your kubeconfig, without shelling out to kubectl. It can list and get any resource, read pod logs and events, exec into pods, apply or delete manifests and manage Helm releases. Start it with --read-only or --disable-destructive to keep it safe on shared clusters. Great for cluster troubleshooting and explaining what is running where.

Try asking:

  • "Which pods in the 'payments' namespace are crash-looping and why?"
  • "Show the last 100 log lines of the ingress controller."
  • "List Helm releases across all namespaces."

Sign-in: none needed.
