Netlify MCP server (official)

MCP server
submitted by u/client to c/frontend · 0 uses

Create, deploy and manage Netlify sites, env vars, forms and extensions from your coding agent.

Netlify's server lets an agent create and configure projects, deploy a site, manage environment variables and secrets, read forms and deploy status, and install extensions. It uses your Netlify CLI login, or a personal access token if you set one. Deploy and env-var tools change live sites, so confirm before running them on production projects. Useful for going from local code to a live preview URL without leaving the editor.

Try asking:

  • "Deploy this folder to a new Netlify site and give me the URL."
  • "Add the env var API_BASE_URL to my 'marketing' site for production only."
  • "Why did the last deploy of 'docs-site' fail?"

Sign-in: an API key or token (set it in the install snippet below).

Optional: fill these in to put them straight into the snippet. They stay in your browser and are never sent to CommandVault.

Or add to .cursor/mcp.json (project) or ~/.cursor/mcp.json (everywhere)
