Postman MCP server (official, remote)

Manage Postman workspaces, collections, environments, mocks and monitors, or generate client code from APIs.

Postman's hosted server connects an agent to your Postman workspaces to search and edit collections, requests, environments, specs, mocks and monitors. The /minimal path exposes a small essential tool set, /code focuses on generating client code from API definitions, and /mcp is the full set. Auth is OAuth by default, or a POSTMAN_API_KEY bearer header (required for the EU region). Useful for keeping collections in sync with code and building API clients.

Try asking:

  • "Create a Postman collection from the routes in this Express app."
  • "Add a staging environment with BASE_URL set to https://staging.example.com."
  • "Generate a TypeScript client for the Payments API collection."

Sign-in: OAuth in your AI tool the first time you use it.

Optional: fill these in to put them straight into the snippet. They stay in your browser and are never sent to CommandVault.

Or add to .cursor/mcp.json (project) or ~/.cursor/mcp.json (everywhere)
