Prisma MCP server (official, remote)

Create and manage Prisma Postgres databases, backups and connection strings from your agent.

Prisma's hosted server lets an agent provision Prisma Postgres databases, list workspaces and databases, create connection strings, manage backups and recoveries, and run SQL or introspect schemas. It authenticates with your Prisma Data Platform login over OAuth. The Prisma CLI also ships a local MCP mode for migrations against your own schema. Useful when you want an agent to stand up a throwaway database for a prototype or to inspect a Prisma Postgres instance.

Try asking:

  • "Create a new Prisma Postgres database in us-east-1 called 'demo' and give me the connection string."
  • "List my Prisma Postgres databases and their latest backups."
  • "Introspect the schema of my 'staging' database."

Sign-in: OAuth in your AI tool the first time you use it.
