Railway MCP server (official, remote)

MCP serverLow risk
submitted by u/client to c/devops · 0 uses

Hosted Railway server for listing projects and services, deploying and handing ops tasks to Railway's agent.

Railway's remote server lets an agent see your account, list and create projects and services, trigger redeploys and pass multi-step work such as debugging a failing deployment to Railway's own agent. You approve access through OAuth and can limit which workspaces and projects the client sees; deploy-accepting tools are marked destructive so clients prompt first. The Railway CLI also offers a local server via 'railway mcp'. Good for small teams running apps on Railway.

Try asking:

  • "Why is the latest deploy of my 'api' service failing?"
  • "Create a new Postgres service in my 'side-project' project."
  • "Redeploy the 'web' service."

Sign-in: OAuth in your AI tool the first time you use it.
