Time MCP server (reference)

MCP server
submitted by u/client to c/productivity · 0 uses

Get the current time in any timezone and convert times between timezones.

The reference Time server gives an agent two simple tools: get the current time for an IANA timezone and convert a time from one timezone to another. It needs no credentials and reads nothing from your system beyond the clock. Small but useful for scheduling across regions and avoiding date mistakes.

Try asking:

  • "What time is it in Tokyo right now?"
  • "If the meeting is 9am in New York, what time is it in Berlin and Sydney?"
  • "How many hours until midnight UTC?"
