Web quality audit (Addy Osmani)

Skill
submitted by u/client to c/frontend · 0 uses

Audits a site for performance, accessibility, SEO and best practices, Lighthouse-style.

Runs an evidence-based review of a web page across performance, accessibility, SEO, best practices and readiness for AI browsing agents. It routes to the right tools, assigns severity levels and returns results in a fixed format with a quick checklist. A helper script is included. Lighthouse or a browser helps but isn't strictly required.

Try asking:

  • "Audit my site's web quality"
  • "Run a Lighthouse-style audit on our homepage"
  • "What should I fix first to optimize this website?"

Skills are folders with a SKILL.md file. Claude loads one on its own when a task matches its description. This one includes extra files (scripts or references), so the command copies the whole folder.
