Writing implementation plans (Superpowers)

SkillLow risk
submitted by u/client to c/productivity · 0 uses

Converts a spec into a step-by-step implementation plan with small, testable tasks.

Used once requirements are known but before coding. Claude writes a plan document that lists the files to touch, breaks the work into right-sized tasks, and spells out each step, including the tests to write and commands to run. Plans are detailed enough for another agent or a junior developer to follow without guessing. Pairs with the subagent-driven-development and executing-plans skills.

Try asking:

  • "Write an implementation plan for the spec in docs/payments.md"
  • "Break this feature into tasks I can hand to subagents"
  • "Plan the migration from REST to tRPC"
