Hugging Face Hub CLI (Hugging Face)

SkillLow risk
submitted by u/client to c/data · 0 uses

Use the hf CLI to download, upload and manage models, datasets, Spaces and jobs on the Hub.

Teaches Claude the Hugging Face Hub command-line tool (hf): logging in, managing the local cache, browsing and downloading models and datasets, creating and updating repos, handling discussions and PRs, running jobs on Hugging Face hardware and managing Inference Endpoints. It also covers mounting Hub repos as local folders. Requires the huggingface_hub CLI to be installed.

Try asking:

  • "Download Llama weights to ./models with the hf CLI"
  • "Upload this folder as a new private dataset"
  • "Start a GPU job on Hugging Face to run my script"
